May the Odds Be EVER in Your Favor (Twins Hunger Games-6 Players Remain)

It's always tough to see one of the players get eliminated, but some confusion arose as Luke Hughes was taken by a flying hovercraft, that Oakland got functioning, and was carried away to the other team.  No cannon sounded for him however, but it brought the total of players down to 11.

Sneaky little Alexia Casilla has been jumping from tree to tree and taking out his competition.  He found Trevor Plouffe asleep in one of the trees and cut him loose setting him down to his death.  Chris Parmelee had the same fate, but he a baseball was wildly pitched at him from Matt Capps sending him to his doom, before Capps met his similar fate.  Poor Liam Hendricks was fighting so hard!  He really showed the Capital that he deserved a much better score than they had given him.  He made it down within the final 10, and came mighty close to being in the top 5.

Perk? Neau Mor. (Twins Hunger Games)

It was a tough night in the Twins Hunger Games.  Two of the highly rated tributes (and my pick to win it) were eliminated.  Justin Morneau was surprised in the middle of the night by the sneaky Alexi Casilla who swooped thru the trees undetected.  No one would have ever saw THAT one coming.  Glen Perkins set himself up to get killed.  He set a trap to catch some wild deer in the stadium and instead, he got caught and killed in his own trap.

It's A Lonely World (Twins Hunger Games)

During the night we had another victim that was taken out by none other than Jeff Grey.  Brian "Deuce" Duensing was slain with a blow to the head with a curve ball eliminating him from the competition.  It was a rough day today for others suffering from injuries.  Hopefully some sponsors step up and send some medicine to people like Nick Blackburn.

Poor little Ben Revere thought he had created a alliance with Trevor Plouffe since his other alliance of Denard Span was killed, but he was wrong. Dead wrong.  Trevor gave poor little Ben Revere some berries called "Nightlock" that were actually poisonous berries.  Ben had no idea that his new alliance would turn on his so quickly.

Sixteen Players Remain (Twins Hunger Games)

Tonight there were no fatalities, but the last couple games were a mass murder of players.  Five players went down quickly in the middle of the night.  Two were beat with the boom sticks of Orioles and Angels players (Swarzak and Blackburn).  CJ Wilson used his hipster power turning into a hybrid dog unleashing his power and taking out Mauer and Span.  Jamey Carroll did not tend to his wounds well enough.  He dug himself into the dirt and died quietly.

Happy Easter - 21 Remaining (Twins Hunger Games)

In Saturday's Twins vs Orioles game, Danny Valencia's ego got the best of him allowing his teammates to explode a bomb close enough to him to take him out.  He thought he had gotten in on the alliance with Justin and Joe, but he was dead wrong.  Justin Morneau and Joe Mauer used their big sticks to beat Francisco Liriano ending his time in the competition.

Jamey Carroll suffered some wounds from a fire that sprouted up in the woods, but thankfully for him, someone sponsored him to send him some healing balm so he would survive the night.

The competition is heating up and players seem to be falling like flies.  Who will be left in the end?  Will the Career tributes of Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau dominate the competition? Or will there be one of the underdogs that finish on top and survive the Twins Hunger Games?

It's possible that your support for a player could save them when they need help the most.  Who will you support?

And Then There Were 23

Well the position players were quick last night to take out the Twins starting picture Carl Pavano.  They all ganged up with their bats and went to town taking out one of the Career tributes.  Ryan Doumit also suffered a blow to the stomach that was not survivable.  He went quietly during the night.

The Careers (Twins Hunger Games)

Good evening tributes and citizens of Twins Territory. As the regular baseball season has started the last cuts of Twins players were made.

Carl Pavano beaned Scott Baker in the head eliminating him from the competition, after that, he moved onto Kyle Waldrop and finished off with Jason Marquis realizing he doesn't need a Mario to his Luigi.

Also eliminated at the mercy of their teammates Drew Butera, Casey Fein, JR Towles, Brian Dozier and Brian Dinkelman.  The career tributes (Mauer, Morneau and Pavano), guys who have been training their whole life for this competition took most of those guys out without even breaking a sweat, Brian Dozier didn't make it through one of the cold MInnesota nights when frost hit the ground.  Guess he didn't find shelter in time.
